Don’t Look Back by Jennifer L. Armentrout (J.Lynn) Book Review !

This book review is going to be short because this is going to be a spoiler-free review only because it’s a mystery book and I don’t want to give too much away.

Don’t Look Back by Jennifer L. Armentrout(J.Lynn) is a young-adult myster thriller that was published on April 15, 2014 by Disney-Hyperion.

★★★★.5 4.5/5

Samantha knows nothing about her life after dissappearing one night with her best friend Cassie. But before this, Sam had everything anyone could ask for; a dream boyfriend, wealth, and popularity.

Samantha’s discovered but without her best friend and memory. So she has no idea what happened that night. As she finds out more things about her life and experiences by other people, she discovers she wants no part in the old her. She was the worst kind of person to everyone and she discovers her “best friend” Cassie actually secretly hated each other.

She realizes this memory-loss could be a second chance at being a better person as she falls in love with old best friend-old enemy Carson Ortiz who still cares about her even when she used to treat him like trash.

But Cassie’s still missing and Samantha’s missing memory isn’t helping anyone find her. The closer she gets to answers, the closer she gets to danger.

This whole reading experience was a rollercoaster but you will be kept on your toes the whole time especially when you discover the new things about that night.

Since this is a mystery/thriller book, you’re going to blaming things on characters you loved and I think that’s the most frustrating thing but it’s worth it.

I think this book was amazing and I’m really happy I finally got to it and I definitely recommend it to everyone.

Since the main character doesn’t have her memory, you’re in the same state as her and you’ll believe everything that’s told her and I’ve never felt like that while reading a book so it was a new experience for me.
